UMBRO INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT 2025

Grorud IL er stolte av å presentere det som blir den mest stjernespekkede utgaven av Umbro Invitational Tournament noensinne. I perioden 14.–17. august 2025 samler vi 24 lag fordelt på to klasser, seks nasjoner og noen av de største navnene i europeisk ungdomsfotball. Dette er turneringen for fremtidens stjerner – og de kommer til Grorud.

Umbro Invitational Tournament har etablert seg som en av de mest prestisjefylte utviklingsturneringene i Norden. Med lag fra seks ulike land og storklubber som Athletic Club de Bilbao og Wisla Krakow på deltakerlisten, blir 2025-utgaven en milepæl i turneringens historie. 
Dette er ikke bare kamper – det er referansepunkter, inspirasjon og læring for spillere, trenere og klubber. Det er utviklingsfotball på internasjonalt toppnivå.

Streaming og fasiliteter 
Alle kamper spilles på kunstgressbanene til Grorud IL. Kampene blir dessverre ikke streamet på grunn av en særregel for Oslo kommune hvor dette ikke tillates.
Det legges til rette for speakertjeneste, profesjonell kampramme og sosiale soner for både spillere og publikum. Deltakerne vil innkvarteres på Thon Hotell Linne eller Groruddalen skole – begge med kort vei til banene. 

Fra arrangøren 
– Vi har aldri hatt så sterke klubber i begge klasser samtidig. Det er rått å kunne ønske velkommen til lag som Athletic Club og Wisla, samtidig som vi får målt oss mot de beste fra Norge, Sverige, Finland og Island. Dette er utviklingsfotball på sitt beste, sier utviklingsleder og initativtaker til turneringen i Grorud IL, Axel Berg Mehn-Andersen.

Med 24 lag, topp fasiliteter og et internasjonalt snitt som savner sidestykke i norsk ungdomsfotball, er det bare å glede seg til august.

Grorud IL is proud to present the most star-studded edition of the Umbro Invitational Tournament to date. A Stage for the Future’s Top Players 
The Umbro Invitational Tournament has established itself as one of the most prestigious development tournaments in the Nordic region. With teams from six different countries and powerhouses like Athletic Club de Bilbao and Wisla Krakow on the roster, the 2025 edition will be a milestone in the tournament’s history. 
These are not just matches – they are reference points, sources of inspiration, and valuable learning experiences for players, coaches, and clubs alike. This is top-level international development football. 

Streaming and Facilities 
All matches will be played on Grorud IL’s artificial turf fields. The matches will not be streamed due to special regulations for Oslo .
We are providing professional match presentation, live commentary, and social areas for both players and spectators.
Participants will be accommodated at Thon Hotel Linne or Groruddalen School
